Does anyone know if AA still sells one day admirals club passes? How can one get one and how much?

I'd rather go to Disney World instead, for the same price. What's so great about the Admiral's Club that it costs so much? What's the yearly membership fee?

That's a ridiculously high price to pay even if you did spend the WHOLE day there and to add insult to injury, you have to pay for alcoholic beverages too as opposed to The President's Club (CO) or Worldclub (NW) where they're free. I wonder if AA gets any takers on that $50.00 day fee?

Maybe, just maybe, you can get a friend's pass that is about to expire and use it for yourself. My brother and dad were strolling the concourse while my mom and I were in the Admirals club. Long story short, they saw some extended family members and my dad's old pass was to expire in a week and he already had his new one. My dad did the nice thing and gave them his old pass as they were going overseas and needed to lounge out before the long flight, but what are the chances of that happening? That was just luck.
May I ask how long your layover or what airport you are looking to stay at and what your final destination is? In some cases, it might not be worth it.
