Why So Many Private Jets Registrated With "qs"

as the topic stated, while I'm watching ther ACARS message decoded, I noticed a lot of private jets using "QS" at the end of the reg. Anyone know why?

All the N...QS registrations are allocated to Executive Jets Aviation, more commonly known at NetJets, the exec jet fractional ownership company.

To answer the original ?, QS refers to Quarter Share.

Everyone thinks that the QS is for Quarter Share. They're wrong! The first airplanes EJA used in the Quarter Share program were Citations so the QS actually stood for Quite Slow.

However, one of my buddies used to work for EJA and he told me that it stood for what the passengers did when they got off the airplane at the end of the trip - Quiver & Shake.  Big grin
