Deutsche BA At Fra?

When I was at FRA on June first I saw a Deutsche BA 733 in FRA and now I found a picture dated June 8th with a DBA plane in FRA.
I know that they do not fly to Frankfurt on a scheduled basis so does anybody know what they did there?
Are those all charters or on behalf of British Airways?

Most probably the aircraft was on a charter flight as dba does no longer operate any flights on behalf of British Airways.

two days ago I saw an add in the new DUS airport magazine. DI offers DUS-MUC for 48 Euro (oneway incl. Tax) and DUS-TXL for 56 Euro (oneway incl. Tax). For drinks and meals you have to pay but the tickets are full flexible.

Nice offer in my opinion, maybe I try DI in the near future because I have never flown on that airline.

Does anyone know if you can collect miles on DI flights (maybe BA Executive Club?)

No FF program on DI flights. They have stopped their own program, and you can't collect BA miles on DI either.

DI offers flights starting at €39 (inlc. tax and fees) if booked via their web site (www.flydba.de). DI also offers seasonal service from MUC to Malaga for €65 (incl. tax and fees) ow.

On the other hand there's not too much action at TXL going on.

I have flown DBA to TXL once and it was about 93 € roundtrip. But when checking some fares now it seems like you have to book about one month in advance in order to get the cheap fares. That at least applies for STR-TXL.

Nope, unfortunately no DI STR-MUC. That would be a very short flight.

I want to go to MUC this year yet so maybe we should take dba from either CGN or DUS there and have a meeting like we had in FRA a week ago... just with suntan lotion Big thumbs up

You'll recieve an email from me in a moment about our meeting at ARN.

I will probably go to Berlin this year as well but I don't know if I will fly or drive but if the time fits I would like a TXL spotter meeting.
