Hi everyone,

Two days ago (Tuesday 11/06/02) I saw an a/c taking off over my head and I couldnt recognise it because I was driving.

I can just explain the following -

It was taking off from Ben Gurion Airport at Tel aviv at approx. 6pm.
It was I think an A320 or a B738.
It was a white aircraft with a dark blue tail, the dark blue colour continued from the tail to the a/c's bottom just under the tail.

Can anyone maybe tell me what airline was it?

Thank You
ly334

Cainanuk,

No, the bottom of the a/c was blue only under the tail, the rest was totally white.

Thanks for trying.

Since when flies SNBA the A320??  Wink/being sarcastic

They only have Avro's and the BAe146-200 at the moment. And maybe the B737 within some months. But A320's, no.

Ly334, I can't imagine me what it could have been what you saw.

Regards,
Frederic

Hi Frederic and everyone,

I just saw today the new pictures added on A.net and on this picture if you look at the blue airline on the side, this was exactly the same tail then it.
But still I dont know what airline this is.

So even it is not that, this is how the blue colour of the tail went down.
If you look at that picture above as it is without thinking that the a/c has a blue bottom then this isit.

I just wanna know the name of that airline.

Come on fellows,

I mean the same idea of the blue cocour coming down, but it stopped beneath the rear door, it doesn't continue through the whole plane.
the whole bottom side of the plane is white.

The tail is blue without any design on it.

Anyone????

Airtours/My Travel hybrid, thats what it is. Some of them don't have any paint except for the dark blue on the tail, and sometimes a small mytravel logo by the main door at the front of the cabin.

I seem to recall seeing a MyTravel A320 on lease from Skyservice that might have a paint scheme similar to what's being described as well.

Aren't those JMC's going to be repainted in Thomas Cook colours, like Condor?

Maybe one of the last times you saw a B752 of JMC Airlines Ly334 Big grin

Canada 3000 does indeed no longer fly in those colours.
It was a hybrid livery from the time they were switching names from "Royal Canadian" to "Canada 3000".

It was a Fedex a/c and it should have been an A310 most probably.

If you look at those...
