I am getting sentimental. Remember those DC-6B's, DC-7C's,
Lockheed Constellations, Lockheed Electras, Vickers Viscount's,
Comet 4's and others at Stockholm - Bromma's international airport
in the late 50:ies.
What do I want with this forum? Don't know really. Just hoping that
anybody out there have some comments about "real aircraft".
Just seeing an engine start of a DC-7C once again is something
I'm prepared to serve hard time for (think that is the expression,
from what I have seen in american movies).
Any oldtimer out there who also love old aircraft???

You don't have to be an oldtimer to like real airplanes. I'm too young to remember the big radials of the 50's and 60's, but I still love them. I wish the Delta Museum would get a an old DC7 or Connie to add to the display. Right now they have one of the original DC3's and an old Travel Air.

I am sooo glad I live in a place where I still get to see DC-6's taking off in the morning.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

You can me count in. I live about 3 miles from a US Forest Service Tanker Base. During the summer fire season, I get to watch DC-6, -7, C54, Neptunes, Privateers, etc. come and go on a regular basis. It's sweet. Last weekend the Collings Foundation B-17 and B-24 made a visit to our city. Like I said in a previous post, someday, when I hit the lottery, there will be a Grumman Albatross (long-wing) in my hanger, next to my DC-3, B-17, Stearman, Corsair, and any other round-engined warbird I can use my newly gotten obscene wealth to buy.
