Hi everybody, I have "toped" this topic in the "non aviation" forum a couple of month ago. But a very good friend of mind (member) told me this is the wrong forum. OK..
My very first flight was on board of a DC-9 owned by AZ from FCO (ROM I) to GVA (Geneva CH) come off in the year 1976 I was 1 year young.

My very flight was when I was a mere 8 month old baby, in April 1962.
American Airlines Boeing 707 or Lockheed Electra. My folks don't remember which aircraft it was, and I've been trying to find out ever since aviation got ahold of me. LAX-ORD was the route then. Regards.

I think I am probably going to hold the title here. My first flight was from LAX-IAH on a Continental DC-10 when I was only 10 days old. Maybe that has something to do with me turning into an aviation nut. This was beginning of February 1979.

I was one year old and I flew from Montrel to Ft. Myers, Florida on Air Canada. That was a very eventful flight, especially on takeoff, but that's another story.

I didn't get a taste of flight until I was 13 years old....
I remember it like it was yesterday.. Then again, it was only 3 years ago. Anyway, my parents bought me a ticket to go to San Diego ( I am from STL ) I was so scared to be flying. I had spent my entire life on the ground, and the thought of loosing contact with the ground, well I developed a new appreciation for being on the ground at that point. My mom had told the ticket agent that it was my first time flying, and he let me on the plane first. My parents escorted me on the plane since I was flying by myself.. I was abut to lose m mind b/c I was so scared, so they wanted to be sure that I wasn't going to "trip" My parents soon left me, and I was there all alone! I watched very intently as people began boarding... Any sign of fear, and I was off the plane! No one seemed nervous at all, in fact, no sooner had the man sat down behind me, before he was snoring away!
When we pushed back from the gate, I realized there was no turning back. We had a line of about 12 or so other Airliners, so we kept stopping and going... My heart was doing the same thing! Finally after about 15 minutes, we turned onto the runway. My heart leapt to my throat as we began our take off. I closed my eyes, praying that I wouldn't have to use that politically correct "for motion discomfort" bag. As I opened my eyes, we became airborne....
My fear and anxiety evaporated, and were replaced wit joy and euphoria. As we climbed high above the city, I realized my passion...With the dip of a wing I was headed for the southwest, and into a love for aviation.
I know that this is much more than you guys probably wanted to know, but I just felt like sharing my joy, and love for aviation. Now, 3 years later, I have been funnelled into a Delta Scholarship program to become a pilot for them in the future.

BTW it was an MD-80

I was the first time to fly to USA by a China Airlines Boeing 747-100 or Boeing 747SP on the way from HKG to TPE to HNL and then LAX! I was so lucky that I had had flown on a LONG HAUL FLIGHT however I thought the flight time was too short! Probably I was sleeping all the time. ZzzzzzZzzzzZzzzzZzzzzz
And also I also flown on AA to fly from coast to coast (LAX to NY). It was still my first time to fly on a foreign airline and domestic flight!
