Are there any new airlines looking at operating to EMA in the near future. There is DHL, UPS, TNT, Coyne, Cathay Pacific Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo, Bluebird, Royal Mail and Air Contractors. We also get Antonov Design Bureau, Heavy Lift, Gemini Cargo, World Cargo, Channel Express, Kalitta Air.

Didn't MAN decide to do some internal wrangling and put the head cargo honcho of EMA into a similar position here? Oh, the benefits of being mother airport in charge of 3 others

It may have been a UPS 763. We have 763 flights coming in from Philly and on to Koeln (Cologne) EDDK.
Look for a 75 or possibly a A300 flight to a European airport near you courtesy of UPS

i thought that MAN wanted to concentrate mainly on attracting Pax services so i think they should send the cargo flights to its children. (ok just EMA)

On the contrary, right now the number of cargo airlines operating into EMA is reducing, not increasing... Coyne Airways has stopped already, and this weeks Cathay is the last for the time being as they're transferring the flight to Manchester.

Is CX taking the DHL traffic with them to MAN, as I understand that DHL is one of the reasons for Cathay's presence at EMA? It certainly accounted for CX leaving STN about 18 months ago.

29 Catflap: Looking at the CAA web-site, EMA moved 195,009 tonnes of cargo last year. By my reckoning this averages out at 534 tonnes per day. If you can get 100
30 Skymonster: GKirk said: Cargo = Loads, Passenger flights = Not that many GKirk, I think you'd be surprised about the number of passenger flights. I also suspect t
