What is the difference between avgas, Kerosene, Jet-A and plain old unleaded?

Avgas is similar to that which is used in cars, but it still has lead in it and generally is of higher octane. You can buy avgas in 80 octane, 100/130 octane, and 100 octane low lead. The actual octane of these is higher than the number given.

Kerosene and Jet-A are so close to eachother that people often use the terms interchangably. Most people don't worry about the differences between them.
