Which A/C do you think gives the funnest take off while riding in it? Id say the MD-80's.

Need clarification here. What specifically do you mean by "funniest"?

This, my friend, is BY FAR the funnest takeoff in the world. However, I also like the takeoff of an ATA 757-300 taking off out of MDW en route to MCO.

A 757 out of SNA. That thing goes up like a rocket.

Been on a 737 out of SNA, and it isn't even close.

The 757 is like a Corvette...powerful engines with a light body. I love flying in them. The L1011 also will pin you in your seat.

757s out of EGE(vail). Right after takeoff there is a steep right turn and it makes you jump a little bit. Not just out of EGE, but everywhere, 757s are a lot of fun.

757 ALL THE WAY
Take off is like like being in the shuttle on one of these birds!!
Gotta love it  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

25 Dash8King : If you had a dictionary you would know that funnest is not a word that is all.
26 Chi-town : I would love to take off in a 757! It sounds like fun. I would have to say that the 727-200 takeoff is really crappy. The plane takes a looong time to
27 Post contains images Trickijedi : The funnest take off is in a 757 from MDW.
28 Gr325 : I say the dash 8 - Q 400. Ever seen the rate of climb of that aircraft. Amazing.

31 Jayhup : The best commercial ride in the world is the Concorde noise abatement take off out of JFK...... JH
32 Dash8King : LOL I was not disturbed Av8 just making a joke. As I already said I think taking off in the Twin Otter on Great Slave Lake.
33 GWB : I've flown Concorde three or four times and there's nothing to beat it. The first time, I was checking other people's faces to make sure this was norm

35 HAJ_OW : Hi, my favourite is the dh8-Q400. If you take off with headwinds it's really amazing. I guess we had about 1500-2000ft at the end of a 11000ft runway.
36 Donder10 : The 340 300 is up there. You must get some good views after takeoff.
37 Areopagus : I rode a backward-facing seat in a Sabreliner. It climbed out very steeply, and I was hanging by my seatbelt.
38 Dash8King : Hahaha Av8. Yeah I would love to fly the concorde so far I have $800 saved up and I am gonna put it towards a one way ticket when I can finally afford
39 Continental : Chi-Town: Hahaha, you are soo right. 727s rotate super late and take forever to climb! I have to say that the most fun I've ever had during takeoff ha

42 174thfwff : Private Leer Jets and MD-80's that are 10% full are by far the best take offs anyone can get!
