what is the exact plane for aa's md-11's? i know that they are being sold to fed ex but when will they be gone? are they selling them as soon as a replacment 777 is delivered? i heard that 777 service to buenos aires from miami will begin in june, but what will happen to the 2 md-11's that serve this route? will they be sold or re-routed? i want to know this so i can celebrate the day when the md-11 is gone and i can fly american airlines without half my flights being cancled, delayed, or just plane scary! on my last trip i had 2 abort take offs to to thrust reverse problems and an aborted landing. i hate the md-11!
