According to several Chinese newspaper reports that China Southern Airlines' (CZ) first own Boeing 747 jet (cargo) will officially on service from tomorrow.

The aircraft is a Boeing 747-400F cargo jetliner (new Chinese registration number is B2473) and it will sever the route: Shenzhen -- Anchorage -- Chicago -- Anchorage -- Shanghai -- Shenzhen.

Also, China Southern Airlines becomes the second mainland China-based carrier owns a Boeing 747 jetliner, the first one is Air China (CA).

The aircraft was in Zhuhai most of the afternoon doing touch a goes. The weather in Hong Kong was so clear today that we could see it !!

I really like China Southern, they would be great for the Star Alliance.

One thing I like is the management. Pre September 11 2001 they had 95% load factors from China - US West Coast. Most impressive.

Not particularly fond of the cheatline and the tail / logo. Hmmph

HKGSpotter1: You obviously have no life and you are most immature. Are you sure you're aged between 26 - 35? I think your stalking me is annoying a lot of people now. I suggest you cease this activity.

Singapore_Air,

Your always posting crap then you try to make me look bad, have you not noticed that most of your posts have no replies ??.

Next time your in Hong Kong come and say HI. I'll show you how old I am before I give you a famous British Knuckle Sandwich.

Have a nice day

Daryl

P.S. The only airline in this world you like is SQ or any airline they own part of. Like I said the only reason you don't like the CZ scheme is because its not Gold and blue !!

And I have no intention of going to Hong Kong thank you very much.

Guys, quit it!! Just ignore each other's posts from now on. It's evident you guys will probably never be on good terms. It's gone to a personal level despite the fact that you guys don't even know each other personally! Anyway....

Thanks for posting the pics Carnoc!! As I said CZ's 744F looks very nice indeed. Do they have any more 744Fs on order, perhaps to service other US destinations?

Hkg82.
