Is there anyone out there who has any knowledge of what of interest is based at some of airfields in these states that I may be visiting on my holiday . I'm travelling from Seattle-Spokane-Billings-Sheridan-Greybull-Yellowstone-Boise-Seattle. Will be going to the EAA show at Arlington, WA on the last day.
I'm into big old props, preserved jets, warbirds, classic lightplanes a bit too (like Cessna 140, Luscombes) and airliners.
I know what's at some of the airfields, but would also be grateful for any info on how easy (who to ask) to get on the ramp at any of these fields to take pictures.

I live in Spokane. There airport cafe at Felts Field, the old airport which is general aviation now, has great food, great view, and is in a historic terminal. The museum at Fairchild Air Force base is interesting but little known...worth a stop. Seattle has the Boeing museum, which is great, and the factory tour at Everett.
