G-BDXH (The blue one) first visited NCL today, operating a flight to and from Palma on behalf of Britannia. Bet that was a nice change from 757/767 to 747  Big thumbs up

That really annoys me!
I doubt there was a single person on that flight that even knew what airline they were flying let alone had an interest in aviation!
It'd be a dream come true if the same happened to me- I don't care how long the delay was 1st!

Some people have all the luck.......  Crying Big grin

Today's 747 at NCL was the first one for a few months, the last one being a BA 747-400 diversion from LHR, G-CIVB

It's back at Bournemouth today, though all the other ones are away. It seems that they are finally getting some use as they have been sat around here for some time.

GKirk said: Wasnt it the black one that had only 200 seats?

None are black, or all are black, depending on your point of view.

All have a white front end, and a black back end, and a colours stripe across the middle. The colours are red, blue, pink, yellow and green.

The blue one is the one that's meant to be used by Minardi.

I want the green one on film to complete the collection - anyone know where it hangs out?

European's maintenance is based in Bournemouth. The aircraft usually hang out there when not in use and the green one is there now.

For some reason I thought one had been pained with a black stripe on as well Big grin
Hmmm.....230 757 or 280 767 passengers on a 200 seat 747....maybe the flight operated in addition to the other BY flight I suppose...
