I'll be honest - I have no idea where I heard this. It may have just been part of a crazy dream.

Was there a rumour or something about this?

They did a, hum, forgot what they called it, Product Provment Test, or something.

Effectivly, Toyota wants to get into the GA market, so they got togther resources and people and made a single plane. It's just to prove the concept that they can make a plane, la la.

I think there was a picture in this weeks Aviation Week. Looked nice, was a 3/4 rear shot of it landing. I think it would be great to get them into GA. They certainly build reliable cars, would be great competion for Cessna and the like.
