Does anyone know what time the Qatar airways flight will land at LHR tomorrow? I have to be there to pick up my uncle. I think it's QR 001, but what time is the arrival?

Hello Arsenal@LHR

I know its too late but I just wanted to say that on the day your uncle came (Thursday) thier are 2 flights arriving from DOH. An A300-622R (QR005) at 0700 and an A330-200 (QR001) at 1755. As you know QR operated 11x weekly to LHR. 7x weekly on the A330-200 and 4x weekly on the A300. The route will go to all A330-200 services once the second A330-200 enters service in late July or early August.

How did your uncle find the flight?

Regards,
QatarAirways

Thanks for the info Qatarairways.

Indeed my uncle arrived on QR001 on thursday, landed at 17:40 exactly, 15 minutes ahead of schedule, good puinctuality from QR. I watched the QR A330 land for the first time at LHR, it's a beautiful aircraft, very elegant on approach and landing. My uncle said the flight was excellent, the food was good, punctuality perfect and attentive FA's. QR sounds good to me.

Good to hear that he enjoyed his trip on Qatar Airways. They are doing a lot to improve such as offering more space than any other airline in the gulf for F/J pax. They are also very proud of thier punctuality which is currently the best in the Gulf.

What was the A319CJ doing at LHR on Saturday, went out at 0835 (pics uploaded so hopefully be accepted soon). There was also another A300 by the BA cargo area as well as the scheduled A300.

I am not sure about the A319CJ as it does a lot of VIP charters and is also wet-leased by the government. The A300 does seem strange though because QR have a pretty tight schedule on their A300 that they have no time to be parked idle for long time. Maybe you saw the A310-300 of the Emir that is in QR's colours or you could of seen the A300 that will be leased in in August.

I was at LHR yesterday (29thJune) and saw the QR A310 (A7-AAF) parked in front of the BA cargo centre.
