Whats the reason for the flights. Will they bring football fans to Yokohama?

Yes, up to 2000 German fans have already bought tickets for the final, the German football association is requesting more tickets from the FIFA.

If Germany does win the World Cup the flight will bring back a very rowdy bunch.

We were just discussing this news at work...
Does anyone know, how LTU can provide this extra capacity at such short notice during the high-season, when aircraft utilization is already at its peak?
Please NO SPECULATION here - we were doing that here at work already - we would highly appreciate if someone with internal knowledge of LTU or scheduling in general could give us RELIABLE information!

Thank you very much!

A ticket on LTU Economy Class is € 1999 and includes a hotel stay - transfer Airport-Hotel and transfer hotel-stadium. Not included: Ticket for the final game!
