With the crap seat pitch, and no leg room, I bet all the pax are cranky after flying them. They would have to drug me up before I would get on there.

757 - 28"
762 - 28"
763 - 30"

No different to any other UK charter airline.

Funny thing is though, seeing as how there are a holiday airline, most passengers arrive ecstatic at the prospect of two weeks in the sun - especially given this dismal summer in the UK!

Thats how you pack them in 767 at 28' with 2-4-2. The 767 just isnt wide enough for 2-4-2 to me.

Find out what Monarch's pitch on its A306s and A332s is. Or Air 2000 on its 763s. Or Airtours/MYT's 763s.

There's nothing wrong with Britannia.

True.

That was a biased opinion.

I take it back.

Apparrently on their long haul B767 the premium seats are at the back near the loos.

Richardw,

That is not correct. The premuim class seats occupy rows 1 to 5 on the longhaul 767-300s.

There are no toilets at the back of our 767-300 aircraft.

Please try to post information based on fact.

Have a look at

http://www.britanniaairways.com/

click on select your seat, then 763 315 seats, seat map shows lots of green premium seats at the back, and loo, Rick 767.

ooops! sorry Rick 767, just noticed site map has front of aircraft at bottom of screen, most maps have back of aircraft at bottom of screen.

Easy mistake to make. It is a funny way to present it I admit.

The green seats you see dotted about 1/3 and 2/3s back (rows 17 and 34 from memory) are extra legroom seats (emergency exit rows), the 5 green rows at the front are premium (wider, more comfortable seats / better legroom / better service).

Rick.

If anyone wants cramped aircraft you have to fly JMC. I dont think their seat pitch is any les than BY,MON,MYT etc, but their aircraft seemed SO cramped compared to the other charter airlines!! Perhaps their seats are more chunky, and the fact their aircraft have dark interiors, but it was not the best flying experience!!!

These British Charter carriers seem pretty grim. But the scheduled carriers in coach arent that far behind them.
