Pilot In The US - Non-uscitizen. How Difficult?

1) How difficult is it to get a job with a CPL or ATPL? Will an smaller airline accept me if I just have the qualifications and proof that I have done no criminal things in the last couple of year.
2) Will they be able to help me getting a Greencard?
3) If haven't received a Greencard before I am ready to go to a flight school in the US, should I go and hope to be lucky?
