Well, I think the airline shoudl announce the order whenever it is ready, but at an event like Farnborough, I would think there could potentially be increased publicity for orders as a whole between Airbus And Boeing.

SIA is still going to receive the A340-500. The delivery date keeps postponed.

Thai Airways has received offers from Airbus for A340-500/600 and Boeing for B747-400/777-300ER for current 743/M11 replacement.

No, it's just a fleet decision on whether they will order the 744XQLR or A345. If they order the A345, I dont expect any announcement.
