What airlines have the newest fleet and the oldest fleet in the world? I think everybody would guess Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirate Airlines and many most other asian airlines have the best fleet in the world. How about European carriers or North American? Which have the newest fleet?
Which airline has the oldest fleet? I guess this answer is pretty much in the air. Aeroflot, Air India, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), anymore airlines?

I would disagree with Air India as one of the oldest fleets. There fleet consists of mostly 747 400 and A310 aircraft. Fair enough its not one of the newest, but its certainly not one of the oldest.

I agree with yu cmchardyfl, Air India does have a fairly good fleet. But changes could be made and should be made.
I think they shoud order the Airbus A330-200 /-300 to replace there A300 and A310 fleet. I think they have the 747-300Combi those will stay in the fleet for a while. Maybe there 747-200's will be gone soon and be replaced with new 747-400's or 777's?
I do think Air India has one of the best airline livery in the world.

SriLankan Airlines, they have 2 A320, 3 A340 and 4 A330. They have one of the youngest fleet worldwide since all the L1011 have gone!
Also Swiss is quite young, especially with all the ER145. The oldest plane are the MD11 which will leave next year and the Saab 2000, MD83 and RJ85/100 will also be replaced, would say within the next 5 years. The could have only Airbus and Embraer.
