Yeah, I thought that would get your attention.
Superfly (a.k.a. rising porn star -- see non-aviation forum for the naked truth) and I thought it was time for another Airliners.net meeting at SFO.
I suggest a BBQ/tailgater "brunch" at the waterfront park southeast of the airport, or at long-term parking, then hit the terminal for some late afternoon/early evening plane geeking. Superfly has found some decent viewing areas in the terminals that apparently don't require passing through a security checkpoint. Or maybe requires dodging a security checkpoint -- I don't know which.
How about the weekend of July 20-21 or 27-28. My preference is for a Saturday.
Anybody want to help plan???? Superfly says he'll bring the beer. And the nude women. For the women forum members, maybe you can persuade Superfly to pose nude at the end of the runway.
Any suggestions/comments/offers to help appreciated. Thanks, and keep on flyin'.

I've been around for almost two years on this forum, but haven't spent much time on it lately because (gasp) I moved in with my girlfriend last year and she's trained me to do ghastly things like clean up around the house and yard and shop at Home Depot and Pottery Barn. I was at the first SFO Airliners.net gathering in 2000 and met a bunch of other aviation buffs -- Imkeww (now SFOIntern), DeltaSFO, ILUV767, Superfly, RayChuang, etc. I'm an attorney by profession so occassionally I'll chime in when someone makes an incorrect legal statement, but mostly I'm like most of the people on this forum who became fascinated with planes at an early age and can't quite get it out of my system. Plane spotting is one of my vices, along with flying Cessnas.
Anyway, it sounds like another weekend would improve the turnout. As with other gatherings, there will always be a few time conflicts, but the less of them the better. How about this -- if anyone is interested in attending, respond with the weekend dates (preferably a Saturday but Sunday would work if enough people are interested) you can and can't go during July and August, and we can take the date that fits in with most people.
And if any of you have suggestions about what else we can do, that would be helpful. SFOIntern and ILUV767, any interest in helping out again? Thanks!

No, you can bring her. The more the merrier, just everyone needs to keep their clothes on! If we do a Saturday at Bayfront Park (a "Day on the Green"), I might suggest a food run to the Famous Frankfurter in Millbrae. They have the best hot dogs! YUM YUM. It is a very nice Asian couple who have been in business for over 25 years. They are on ECR just 2 blocks north of Millbrae Av and just 5 minutes from Bayfront Park.

Okay. Superfly, listen up.
If I go, and you're not there again, I'll *never* post on this forum again. All the Airliners.net denizens will have to live on without me, and it will be all your fault. Just a heads up, so you won't have to live your A.net life in shame as the one that made D L X go away for good.
