The ugliest Boeing jet I've ever seen in my life!

Did that get hit in the nose by an Airbus?

Why did they use the beautiful 707 for this stunt?

Actually, I think the 747-SP is a pretty ugly plane too.

What the hell is that?

Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Agreed. I don't like the look of this 707 variant. Everything looks fine except the design of the nose, which is just weird.

Ptica2000: Is that Nimrod thing based on the Comet?

Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.

Brons,

That's a very sharp eye you have. Nimrod is to Comet what Orion is to the lockeed Electra, Boeing E-3 J-STARS is to the 707, KC-10 is to DC-10 etc...

Cheers

That Nimrod photo is of the long defunct/cancelled AEW Nimrod tho.
The in-service one doesn't have large nose/tail bulges.
I am not sure what the Mk.4 (I think) Nimrod will look like. It'll have new R-R/BMW engines. Perhaps the BAe web site has a drawing.....

That is a really ugly plane. I have seen the Oscar-Mayer Weinermobile in person about 6 years ago. That's ugly too.
Have fun.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
