A few weeks back, Srbmod asked about the status of the Pro Air MD-90's parked in Marana [MJZ] (i.e., whether anyone had ever seen them there and whether they were still parked there). Well, I was up in the Marana area and made a quick check of the visible parked aircraft and noted that there are still three MD-90's there in Pro Air colors (red, blue, and green tails).

MightyMD-90,
Thanks for the update on those Mad Dog 90s. You didn't happen to get any shots of them did you? I bet those aircraft look really strange in Pro Air's livery. Too bad we'll probably won't ever see them fly wearing those colors.

They went under at the end of 2000 (?) or beginning of 2001. For awhile the website said they got all their certificates back etc, and were planning on coming back (with MD90's), but 9/11 put an end to that.

Srbmod,
I did take a few more shots, but as the MD's are parked far away from any vantage point, the shots are not worthy of airliners.net. There is a great web site, Cactus Wings, which has some good info on Arizona planespotting. They have a shot of the three MD-90's (that will give you some idea what they look like in that livery).
