Hi everyone.. I have an odd question for you, I hope someone can help..
I flew FNT-CLE-TPA on Feb 22, 2000 and TPA-CLE-FNT on Feb 29, 2000. This was before I really paid attention to planes and stuff, and was wondering what kind of planes I was on.. I know the FNT-CLE and CLE-FNT were B1900d's, but I am unsure of the others.. Flight numbers are: CLE-TPA 116, and TPA-CLE 117... Anyone able to tell me?
Thanks!!
Chris

The Continental schedule effective Feb. 2001 (the closest one I have to your date of travel) shows 737-300's and MD-80's operating between CLE and TPA. I'm sure this was also the case in 2000.
Flight 117: TPA-CLE, 737-300
Flight 116 was not listed in their schedule, but the if you took the 7:35AM departure out of CLE, this was operated by Flight 118, which was a 737-300 on Sunday, and an MD-80 the rest of the week.
Basically, if you remember an engine on the wing, you were on a 737-300, and if you remember rear mounted engines, you were on an MD-80.

9/99 timetable shows a daily 733, a daily M80 and a weekly 733 each way.
4/00 shows three daily M80s each way.
