EasyJet And Go Record Another Boom Month

EasyJet plc, soon to be the owner of Go, announced that it carried 958 857 passengers in June 2002. An increase of 51.5%.

Load factor was 86.6%, up 0.1%.

Go Fly, soon to be merged with EasyJet, announced that it carried 550 749 passengers in June 2002. An increase of 71.8%.

Load factor was 84.3%, up 9.3%.

"These great figures reflect the massive success of our new bases in Bristol and East Midlands," said Go CEO, Babara Cassani.

BTW the go takeover by easyJet is subject to regulatory approval, how long will this take and is it a foregone conclusion?

I thought Ryanair statistics were fantastic, but Easyjet and GO are really better. It's very impressive how GO has increased its load-factor during last 12 months.

I would guess that go's load factor has increased because of a significant amount of repeat business, which you probably don't get with easyJet.
