Hi Michael,
I'll be there too. In the morning I'm on the visitors terrace and then I'll go to the 14/16 approach to see the An-124 at landing. Could you send me an e-mail about your plans so we could arrange a meeting, maybe some other Swiss aviation enthusiasts will join us (???).
Best regards
Thomas

My contact at Polet has advised me that the An-124-100 isn't coming from Voronezh, but from another European city. Also, the times given will be changing as well. Because of the nature of company policy, he has asked me not to divulge any further info until the 7th. This is their company policy, and I will not be breaching his trust in me by divulging anything else until then. Sorry.

Would be great to meet some of you A.net spotters there! I don't have any plans so far. Probably I won't be there for the whole day. But it also depends on the weather... Anyway, I'll keep you updated!

Well, I know that the flight today would have been a ferry flight and the An-124-100 will operate a flight for ABB on Tuesday out of Zurich. Maybe the aircraft will arrive tommorrow or on Tuesday morning.

I will check with my contact at Polet, and see what I can find out in regards to a rescheduled date/time. Hopefully will hear something back soon.

Speaking of An-124's, there's no need to me to try to find one the hard way. An-124's regularly fly in and out of Moffett Federal Airfield not far from where I live.  Smile

YEP! Back in the schedule is a ferry flight of POT9237, alhough no aircraft type is given so far. If that information is wrong, we still have IwantaBBJ to flame, right?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Yep, IwantaBBJ, it's here! Have you seen it? Impressing aircraft!!

But now, when does it leave? It should have left yesterday, but the flight was cancelled. It is now scheduled for today at 9.00. Let's see.....
