What ever happened to them? They were supposed to start service from Dayton Ohio and fly MD-87's. Any info would be appreciated

Heartland had trouble raising the capital it needed for startup. Last plan on the board was to use 717s out of Dayton.

Plan suspended in August 2001, although not abandoned.

Don't hold your breath though.
