TG Lauching New Destinations In Mid-East And China

New Destinations
THAI plans to launch a thrice-weekly operation on the route Bangkok-Abu Dhabi-Bahrain-Bangkok, in its winter program 2002/03, utilising A330-300 and A300-600 aircraft.
From 29 OCT 2002 Thai will fly to Xiaman in China thrice weekly, utilising A300-600 every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Increasing frequency
For its European network,
London : From 29 OCT 2002 Thai will add one more day flight to FRA on Tuesday, utilising B747-400, which makes Thai flying to LHR 11 times weekly
Frankfurt : From 1 NOV 2002 Thai will add one more day flight to LHR on Friday, utilising B747-400, which makes Thai flying to FRA 11 times weekly.
Asia Network.
Pusan :From 30 OCT 2002, Thai will add one more flight to PUS on Wednesday, utilising A300-600 and will make Thai flying to PUS thrice weekly.
Beijing : From 30 OCT 2002, Thai will increse three more night flight to PEK, every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, utilising A300-600. So there will be flight to PEK in a total of 10 times weekly.
Chengdu : From 29 OCT 2002, Thai will add one more flight to CTU on Tureday, utilising A300-600, which will make Thai fly to CTU four times weekly
Australia Network
Melbourne : From 27 OCT 2002, Thai will add one more flight to MEL on Monday, utilising MD-11. Thai currently have 11 weekly flight to MEL (7 via SYD), so after 27 OCT 2002, we will se Thai fly to MEL 12 times weekly.

Thai have applied and got approval to fly to Doha Airport. The head of a Thai Business Bureau has said that in the future DOH will get service most probably through an existing destination such as Dubai. Do you have any news on that?

Hmm no more AKL flights yet.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Mind you in the last 3 years they have gone from 3 to 10 weekly flights changed from 744 to 773 and back to 744 and introduced a new service from BKK to AKL via BNE with an MD11 3x weekly!!
