I reckon that the Buzz service is to pre empt an easyJet entry into the AMS-STN market. KLM looks very succesful in making life for EZY difficult at AMS. Basiqair has pre empt easyJet from flying to/from Madrid and Malaga, and easyJet has also had to withdraw its second daily to Nice and Barcelona is also dominated by Basiqair. Moreover, I can't help the feeling that KLM only started a 4th daily to ATH to prevent EZY coming into this market.
According to the article KLM wants to focus on LHR and LCY. However, I don't know what will happen with EIN-STN as they will need additional slots at LHR (or maybe LCY?) if they want to move the flights.

As I said earlier this week, this is the end of an era. KLMuk is basically no longer a London operator, and the days of a separate UK domestic airline, with a London headoffice are numbered.

Well KLMuk gets improved frequency's to AMS back
- Flights from London City will increase from 4 to 6 times daily;
- Newcastle from 6 to 7 daily; and
- Manchester from 7 to 8 daily.
- Capacity from Teesside will increase 100%
