The 777 fly:

GRU-GIG-LHR-CPH-LHR-GIG-GRU
GRU-GIG-LHR-GIG-GRU

don'T know if GRu or GIG is the 1st airport  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

It is GIG-GRU-LHR-CPH-LHR-GRU-GIG. Soon the 777 will also fly GIG-GRU-LIS-GRU-GIG.

Do aircraft going international or transatlantic from Brazil have to stop in GRU? Just curious since alot of TransBrasils routes to the US were via GRU....and Varig......just wondering.

AeroGlobeAir7, no, but GRU has more business and higher yields, so a lot do. From the US, MIA, JFK, and ATL have non-stops to GIG. From Europe, FRA, LIS, and CDG do, and others may as well.
