I would like to fly from New York City to Seoul, Korea. The dates are somewhat flexible, but I'd Like to leave Aug. 11th and return Aug. 30. The cheapest I have found was an internet fare with NW from JFK-NRT-ICN for about $1100. $1200 flying non-stop with KE. Not bad, but I have a feeling I can pay less than $1000 as I paid less than $1000 to go to Hong Kong during high season last year and prices were a bit higher then.

Also, If it isn't too much more expensive, I wouldn't mind stopping off in L.A. for a couple of days on the way back. How much extra would that be? I'd even consider the Air France route (JFK-CDG-ICN) as it wasn't that much more expensive than the other options!

You think you can help me out? Thanks a lot!
