Hello,
I plan on going to Florida in eary 2003 to visit my relatives. I have checked the 'discount' airlines and they have offered me to pay double of what I could pay to fly on one of the 'majors'. So any, I have been pondering the idea of flying first class? Is it possible to fly first class only one way, and then coach on the way back? Anyway, I fly out of ROC or SYR, and I was wondering when Delta would be getting rid of their 727's? If they are not gone by the time I go, is their first class comfortable, or should I wait another year for the 738's or whatever they replace the 727 in ROC, SYR with? Thankyou, and looking foward to your responses.

P.S.- Is it even worth flying first class. I would be on a 727 in first, and in business in a 777.

Fly the 727!

They won't be around much longer.

And yes it's possible to fly one way in first class and the other way in coach. Have fun in Florida!

Wait.....does jetBlue have their 2003 fares published yet? If not, wait around a bit....you will not regret your decision.

I think the 738 FC seats are more comfortable than the 727 FC. Business is definately worth it, especially if you can get one of those $40 upgrades.

The 738 has video, but I think the 727 seats are more comfortable. You have plenty of chances to fly Jetblue......Fly on the 727 before it's gone.

jetBlue is good and all, but the 727 will be gone by next march-april. NW is getting rid of theirs by sept of next year.

JBLUA320,
Your fares were almost double of Delta's! They were last yeat too! Sorry but in my book, that isn't a discount airline. I will probably fly you guys frequently if I go to college in New York. (your fares aren't bad on that route)
