I was at the Salt Lake City airport this evening and I saw a Midwest Express DC9 parked in the south cargo area, right by the observation area for runway 34R. Anybody know the reason it was there? Midwest Express does not fly into SLC.

I just got home from work and one of the mainteance supervisors told me it was N701ME and it had a oil leak problem. They sent some mainteance people out to SLC and I do believe they will repair the airplane out there. Also last Friday in MCI N212ME was at the gate and a ramp agent was driving a tug and a cart to the rear of the airplane to drop off some late bags. She got out of the tug and never put the tug in neutral and never put the parking brake on. The tug rolled into the airplane and hit the bottom of the engine cowl and the rear part of the fuselage. Some damage but don't now how much and they ferried the plane back to MKE for repairs. Going to be out at least a week and a half if not more.
