I see on a few flight trackers and on trip.com, that tonights flight from IAH to MSP is operated by a Boeing 737-800. Now, I have seen the 738 of CO here at MSP, but is the 738 a scheduled daily flight? And when will we start seeing the 738 operating the MSP-EWR route??

CO flight 1957 IAH-MSP is a regularly scheduled 737-800 flight. Flights between IAH and DTW and MSP tend to run pretty full due to the NW alliance and thus 737-800s and even 737-900s run on these routes. (the -900 to DTW).
As a side note, CO can be very flexible with their 737 fleet. Their pilots can fly the -300s, -500s, -700s, -800s, -900s. Thus CO can switch variants as the loads dictate.
