Hello there,
hkg_clk and I are from Hong Kong and are visiting the UK for various reasons.

We will be doing some spotting and shall be flying from London Heathrow to Manchester to do spot for a day on the 29th of July (Monday) and returning later that evening. (We will also be attending the Farnborough airshow on the 27th and spot at Heathrow on the 30th)

There are websites with information on where to spot, but most of them lack maps and since this is a first time visit, we will be rather lost when we arrive the airport. If anyone help us or point us in a direction of a helpful website with maps, please leave a message!

If you are around the area at the time and would like to join us, please let us know, it would be nice to meet some other spotters.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, maps are important, and how do you get to the various spots without a car? What's the public transport like there?

Thanks
