I think this is one of the better liveries on a jetliner today. Really looks sleek on the 727 too.

For a much more in-depth and close-up examination of this particular scheme and airline, take a gander at Just Planes newest DVD (coming July 30th). We're treated to some bad-weather approaches in this gorgeous tri-jet as well! Looks pretty good! ...... http://www.worldairroutes.com/Cougar.html.

I love the Cougar livery!

Does anyone know if they still aim to get a B757 for their passenger operations?
I thought that their one B727 that's used for pax ops was to be converted to a frieghter- is that true?

Cheers!

I believe they are looking at getting an MD-11F, and plans for a 757 have been put back, as reported in the new Airliner World Magazine.  Smile

Are their 727s quick change, or do they have a mix of pax and freighters?
I have seen one of those 727 in the cargo are of MAD airport in March, and on the pictures from the above link, I see pax on board.

WOW! A Cougar MD-11!! That would not only be absolutely gorgeous, but also the 1st British MD-11! If they do get one, do you know when it would join the fleet?

Teva I beleive that a couple of their B727s are all cargo, and a third is all passenger.

BTW, their website is very annoying- it takes ages to load. ( http://www.cougar-ltd.co.uk/ )

It would have been great if not for the lame "Cougar" titles on the fuselage. That needs to be removed.

I remember my first sighting of Cougar, i was at Cardiff last July (i think) and it came in on a route proving flight as far as i know, i didn't know what it was until i bought 'Airliner World' a few days later.

Englandair

I read somewhere that Cougar were considering changing the passenger 727 to 'biz jet' use.

Mods would be additional tanks for a longer range and a VIP configuration
