Why Is LH Operating A B744 To MLA On Tue 23rd?

Lufthansa has been operating with A300-600, instead of the usual A320/321, occasionally lately and some three weeks ago they even flew an extra flight with the same aircraft. Next Tuesday, 23rd July, LH will be operating the daily scheduled flight using B747-400 and flying an extra flight with A321.
Anybody knows why?
