How is the new PAN AM doing? They keep adding and deleting routes and cities. I wonder if they are financially stable. I remember reading that they were going to acquire up to 24 727's from United and that they were possibly going to move their headquarters down to Orlando, Sanford. Also where are their crew bases?

You obviously have been missing out alot of news about Pan Am, and all the post about them haven't you? lol..that's ok. They have been adding a few destinations in the caribbean and flights out of EWR. go to their website www.flypanam.com or www.panamhistory.com and click on the news section.

They did buy UA's lot of 727 and have put a few back into service.

No carry ons on Pan Am!

Actually Pacificflyer, I haven't been missing out on any news of Pan Am. I just wanted to know if anyone out there if anyone had heard anything new about them. I always check their website, but it's never updated.

In that case, I must apologize for the misunderstanding. Me too, I checked their website very often, and like you said they did not update much or not at all! Not to mention that it looks quite poor and unprofessional.
I am also wondering what is going on with them and what their future plans are. They have been quite quiet. I'm still waiting to see their next move too!
I'm sorry ChautauquaFA, but I'm wondering the same thing as you are.

Twaneedsnohelp-

There are 4 ex-UAL 727s at SFB right now.

I'm guessing they're going to be used for parts, because those planes are all pieces of junk.

Overall, it seems like Pan Am is doing well, there are always flights coming in around the clock.

They do allow carry-ons but limited to one carry-on per passenger.
