Who do you think has the best FA uniforms? I like Delta's for their unique look. and United and Jetblue, because thier stylish and trendy. Just wanted to hear other peoples opinions. Also, who do you think could use a new uniform overhaul?

And new uniforms for the CSAs as well... Good to hear they've started arriving, as I will be eagarly checking my mailbox. I agree it's a much more professional clean-cut image, very similar to the Delta CSA look (light blue with dark blue accents, and a button-up vest for male CSAs will look sharp!)

LanChile cabin crew have a quite trendy yet elegant uniform that is functional in the air and very presentable for display when on the ground. Every single detail was taken care of in the design and company policy has set very strict guidelines to follow on uniform etiquette. For example, LanChile crew may only use LanChile approved items and garments (ie: carry-on luggage, hair clips, make-up, nail-polish, earrings and socks) just to name a few. This comes as a stark contrast to other South American carriers where excessive jewelry is used as well as different colour hair accessories.

But my vote goes to the TWA uniforms before the merger.
I mean, it was timeless... they used it from 1979 until the end.
I shall miss the big lapels, red sweater vests, neckerchiefs, and endless combinations of coats/shirts/pants/skirts/etc.

Thanks for the responses. I just came back from my FA interview with ATA, I should know very soon whether I am invited to training. I can' wait to see what the new uniform looks like, thanks for the description FLY_ATA. Do you work for ATA? If so what is your position? You can check my profile for my email.

SAA's uniform overhaul 12 months ago is superb!!! Very classic, simple, elegant. I vote for SAA as the best inflight uniform. When next you're at an SAA destination airport, have a look and report back; I think you'll be surprised. And the coats for female FAs are the best around. Black, with a retro fake fur collar-stunning!
