When I first moved to Nashville, it was the hayday of the great AA in BNA. While I was far too young to remember I do know that the current route network was nothing compared to history. For at least a while we did have a flight to LGW. My question is this, why did AA pull out of a market, where as evident by WN, lots of money could be made. The international flight I understand that being canceled. Why cancel an always full nostop from SAN, and downgrade the BNA-LAX from the 757 to the MD-80? Could AA have made money after screwing the city of Nashville into building the 10,00 foot runway, and basicaly getting what they wanted from Nashville?
