Which aircraft flown by BA would you rate the most thrilling on takeoff, climb and landing? Do they both accelerate at pretty much the same rate when at MTOW? Do pilots use a lower thrust rating on the 777 on takeoff?
How do you compare the idle reverse noise on landing??

"Do they both accelerate at pretty much the same rate when at MTOW?"

-Climb rates on the B777 are higher than the B744 at MTOW.

"Do pilots use a lower thrust rating on the 777 on takeoff?"

-Full throttle take-off is seldom used.

"How do you compare the idle reverse noise on landing?>"

-I find RR engines on the B744 quieter than PW or GE on idle reverse. I find idle reverse on B777s quiet, or rather, I can't hear anything from the engines in the cabin.

Flown both of BA's 772's and 744's. Although i did find the 744's RR engines to be rather noisy on take-off compared to the 772's noise on take-off.

I've flown on both aircraft at MTOW, and the 777 does have a little faster takeoff and climb rate, but you can barely notice it.

It depends on weight, the route, etc., to decide the degree of a lower thrust rating, but full power takeoffs are rare.
