I'm glad to say that an oldie have made it back. Transair Sweden is back - hopefully to stay.
Operating 4 A320 and one B757. Transair Sweden were once a pioneer in charter flights, operating B727 from Scandinavia around Europe and to US. Started 1951 and ended operations in 1981 after SAS bought the company and shut it down.
3 of the A320 are for the moment flying for Goodjet.
I wish them all of luck!

Wasn't Transair another Thomas Johansson operation?

That was Transjet.

Who exactly is this Thomas Johansson? I remember he was behind Air Ops (and Transwede) and so far hasn't really brought out a successful airline.

Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been...

LJ, Yes, I'm sorry. They have been around for a little more than a month, but it's now they starting to expand theire fleet. In october they will start domestic fligths in Sweden for Goodjet so I guess that there will be more A320 around.

Thomas Johansson (the man behind Transjet Airways - wish is grounded) have nothing to do with Transair Sweden. He was involed in Transwede and Air Ops.
