I flew into ORD from Beijing on Tuesday at around 4PM and saw an Aer Lingus 737 parked at the international terminal 5 at ORD. It clearly had the Aer Lingus tail but I think it said Apple Tours or something like that in bright red letters (UGLY) on the fuselage. Are these Ex-Aer Lingus planes used on charter flights and if so does anybody know what routes they are used on.

They're only leased from Aer Lingus.

BTW that would be Apple Vacations. And yes those titles are very cheaply decaled on the fuselage.

Mac100: sorry I didnt mean to sound that pissed off cuz im not lol.

I understand your reasoning well. When i first saw it at ORD I was totally confused.

BTW did you happen to see an A320 in JMC colors or a 757 in Air 2000 colors. Those are also operated for Apple Vacations too.

I got a pic here of the JMC sitting at T5. Not ANET quality but you can see it at ORD

ok I am going to tell you all. That plane is a Apple Vacations charter plane they use from Aer Lingus. They also use planes from Air 2000, JMCAir, and use USA 3000 as their carrier.

Here is a picture of that Apple Vacations 757 I saw taxiing to the international terminal. I took it from a UA 737-300 when it was landing on 27-L

Those photos didn't work LOT, Sorry about mine being crappy myself but the scanner was making it do this.

Actually the JMC and Air200 hybrid birds haven't been around ORD in months. Probably won't be back until next winter if at all. Apple also had Condor operating flights for them for about a month although the planes didn't wear any Apple Vacations markings.

Carl: You say your picture is crappy due to your scanner????
