Hi!
I come again to have the good feedback from those US enthusiasts that already flew in American Airlines. Here is the situation:
I will need to make the trip FAT-YYZ during October, there are two options, first is FAT-LAX-YYZ flying the SAAB 340 to LAx and then the AA 737-800 to YYZ, the second is FAT-DFW in a AA MD80 and then DFW-YYZ again in a MD80.
In one way I would like to try again the MD80, it's beem years since I last flew it ( MAD-ROM and LIN-LIS with AZ ) but I also never tried the NG 737 and the SAAB 340. Also I don't have any idea how AA service is. Your feedback would be greatly appreciatted:
regards

I'd take the first option. #1 you'll be taking two new planes instead of one plane you haven't taken in a while. #2 I really like the Saabs and they wont be around for too much longer.

I dont know about you but I would choose the 737-800, more room alot more comfortable, it sure beats the MD-80.-Brett

Hi!
Thanks guys for your feedback, now another question that might be relevant for my choise.
I've been in LAX already, it's an incredible airport and I'm sure it's always worth of visiting it, but what can I expect about Dallas? Is it worth to visit or not, any ideas about that?
regards

Ive been to DFW 3 times, the first two times i was 5 years old and remember nothing. The last time all i remember was that the terminal is a semi-circle and i remember realyl cool looking Admirals Clubs but no concessions.

If I were you, I would choose LAX again. Dallas / Ft. Worth is really bad in my opinion. Not very clean and hot. I think, the connection between your two flights will be better at LAX.

If you want info about DFW and AA (the Saab340) you can read my trip report from a while back. I think it is called:
