Didn't expect this to happen so quickly.

ZK-SUH is back in service since 04 August. The lease has been renewed for three years (Correct me if I am wrong)

This aircraft was being retired temporarily in early 2002 but the lease was renewed a few months after.

It was doing a Test Flight on Saturday around Auckland for two and a half hours and was doing NZ 103 AKL-SYD-AKL on Sunday.

Should be doing LAX-LHR as NZ 2 for now.

Spotters, better get your cameras ready!

Welcome back!!!!!  Smile

Haha.

Yes it is now back in service. But why did they retire it at the very first place? Due to 9.11 and the collapse of Ansett Australia. And they were not sure about the future of Aviation. Right?

Well, they managed to get through with 7 B 744s only.

Actually, it was originally planned to return to service in October 2002.

Welcome back SUH!
