beauty and relaxation services for both male and female passengers. The
services are specially designed for frequent passengers and include a
wide range of innovative treatments. The treatments include hair and
skin care, body and facial massage, as well as spa and reflexology
The new spa has been specially designed to match the tranquil
environment of The Wing and to follow Elemis Day Spa's own holistic
philosophy. All elements of the spa, including lighting, music and aroma
are geared towards creating a relaxing, therapeutic atmosphere and a
calming environment to help replenish and refresh passengers.
"The new Elemis Day Spa will help us provide an even more complete
range of services for our highly-valued First and Business Class
passengers," said Robert Cutler, Cathay Pacific's Director Service
Delivery. "Leisure and business travellers searching for the ultimate
relaxation, or business executives looking for some stress relief will
both find the spa highly attractive."
The new day spa will open at 8:30am each morning and operate until the
departure of the last Cathay Pacific flight, typically around midnight.
All Cathay Pacific's First Class and Business Class passengers can use
the spa on a walk-in basis or by making an advance booking. Elemis Day
Spa offers Cathay Pacific's The Marco Polo Club Diamond members a 20%
discount on any service, Gold and Silver members 15%, and Green members
10%. During the opening period, passengers booking a facial can get a
free back massage while Club members can get a foot rub on their second
visit. The first 50 Club members will receive Elemis skincare products.
In addition to the spa, The Wing has seen a number of recent additions
including new seating areas, a self-service bar, a stylish new personal
entertainment system called "The Pebble", improved food and beverage
services, and artwork by Barnaby Gordon.
