Is it just me, or does this pic look like the pilot is trying to land ON THE NUMBERS?


ok....I know he's taking off, but just look at how the runway just barely comes into view right under his tires.

What you're seeing here is (IMO) that on the very bottom of the picture is the runway it took of from and a little further away, there where you think is the runway, is another runway or taxiway and is partly hidden by the ground that is slightly hilly...

It is an optical illusion. The runway is behind the plane, and the tail is not close to a tail strike. Note there is a small hill between the photographer and the tail of the a/c, making it look like the tail is about to hit.
