Well, all the speculation of who would Delta seek as their codeshare in retaliation of the UA/US deal is finally over. Continental and Northwest are investigating the possibility of bringing Delta into their already very strong codeshare. They are also discussing the option of a "broader international pact" with members of Delta's SkyTeam.

This is absolutely nothing new. The article simply cites unnamed sources who themselves stress that this is preliminary. Don't get your panties in a twist yet, because it ain't gonna happen anytime soon, if ever.
