Just got the info that a CZ flight from Saipan to Guangzhou had to declare an emergency landing due to malfunction, landed at Guam 40 minutes later after takeoff.
Fortunately, 181 passengers and 8 crew onboard are reported to be alright. CZ are still investigation of the reasons for the malfunction.

China Southern Airlines announcer said that what happened today does really show one of the many advatanges with China Southern Airlines' newly-built system operational control center.
In the past, our pilots have to contact air traffic controling department first and then air traffic controling department will notice the head office in the similar situations. However, with the highly advanced international standard SOC system which has just been established by China Southern Airlines for a few weeks, crew members are able to contact company's head office directly and it saves a lot of time, especially when we have met urgent matters.

Estimated arrival time for the new aircraft (Boeing 757) which went to Guam to pick up all passengers back to Guangzhou was 00:10 (Beijing time) this morning, but for some reasons the final arrival time was actually 02:40 (Beijing time) this morning.
According to the information I gained from my friend who is currently working for China Southern Airlines, the reasons for the malfunction are still unknown, but China Southern Airlines' technicians have already arrived Guam and the flght will return to Guangzhou after they have found & fixed the technological problems.
According to the China's Central Television (well-known as CCTV), 181 passengers were fairly happy with way of China Southern Airlines to solve the matter and thanks for China Southern Airlines pilots to remember that SAFETY FIRST.
