Are there any US airlines hiring foreign FAs based overseas? I know UAL used to have FA bases in HKG and SIN, but they have been shut down. Are there any more such examples for any US airline? Thanks!

AA has a crew base in Buenos Aires, and I believe Sao Paulo as well. And, the reverse of the title, but Iberia has a crew base in Miami.

Delta has a base in BOM. Those FAs crew the BOM-CDG flight exclusively (previously BOM-FRA). Ironically, they are the only workgroup other than the pilots to currently have union representation!  Smile

I'm pretty sure NW has a full base in AMS and NRT.

The AA foreign crew bases are staffed by foreign nationals. They are not represented by our union the APFA.

I think the foreign bases are Bogota, Lima, Santiago and possibly BA.
